door redactie | 18-01-2013 om 14:40 uurBadminton Europe have produced the sport's first lifestyle web series bringing you bite-size badminton features of top European shuttlers to be broadcasted on its official Youtube channel as well as on BadmintonEurope.TV.
The first episode of "Smashing Stars", Denmark's rising star Viktor Axelsen shows off his driving skills after getting his driving license, and also shares with us about his childhood in Odense where he had picked up the sport he later excelled in in his local badminton club.
Want to know what is in your favourite European player's bag or see them unleash their bags of trick shots? "Smashing Stars" will unveil the young rising stars in Europe and get off-court with some of Europe's brightest badminton talents. Hear how they got started in the sport, what keeps them going today and answer tongue-in-cheek fan questions.
"The web series is a fun and innovative way for fans to get to know our European stars", says Badminton Europe Secretary General Brian Agerbak. "Each webisode is designed to be casual, edgy, short and sweet as the heart of this production is for fans to find that connection with the stars and we hope to deepen their interest in following the sport through that."
