It comes at no surprise that Pepper, whose slogan reads 'Love to date', is willing to team up with the best that Dutch badminton has to offer. Pepper uses the 'dialogue' paradigm as its leading value: open communication and honest conversation. Just what seems to have been lacking in the current system.
There have been ongoing talks with several single specialists to join Team Pepper. The dating website feels badminton to be a great match. There are many highly educated, healthy and active people in the sport and it's doping free. This is a chance to go from matchmaking in dating to matchmakers in sports!
In support of Pepper's long term mission, the dedication to a Dutch singles team is far from a 'one night stand'. There are strong intentions to enter into a long term relationship leading up all the way to RIO2016 and hopefully beyond.
This monday a formal announcement will be made as to who is joining Team Pepper. Some players have already been alluding to 'something new' on the different social media networks, so stay tuned!
