The aim of the participation grant is to increase participation – more players – more countries represented.

The BWF has sent details directly to Para-Badminton contacts in BWF Members, National Paralympic Committees and disability sports organisations recognized by the BWF. The participation grant will assist organisations who are sending teams of players to pay for travel and accommodation for their players. This is a one-time opportunity to access this grant.

The amount available per team depends from Oceania, Africa, Asia and Pan America is significant – up to USD$7000 for 10 players or more. Organisations from Europe who send players will receive a smaller amount because the distances are much less.
