Unfortunately we lacked a bit of sharpness to win this game and with 3 points in a row the Japanese took advantage of it.
The second game was all about trying to find a way back into the game as the Japanese showed more and more confidence. We fought with everything we had but sometimes you need to accept that your opponent is better than we were today.
Of course we are disappointed not to win the match but we also have the feeling that we are still improving and we are coming closer and closer to the best pairs in the world.
These two weeks have been great for us and we gained a lot of valuable experience towards Rio 2016.
We will now enjoy a little bit of time off from badminton but we can't wait to start the preparations again for the Sudirman Cup and the Australian & Indonesian Open.
A big thank you again for the amount of comments and support we've been getting. We will soon take off to Amsterdam so goodbye Asia and Singapore, you've been great!
