Muskens and Piek: we felt like we did the right thing but came too short

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of speed in our updates. China is giving us a hard time trying to get on Facebook ;-)
Unfortunately we lost our match yesterday against Huang/Ou from China. As the score line reflects (21-13, 21-16) we were not really close in winning the match. The Chinese played well, with little to none unforced errors, making us working hard for every point.
Sometimes you need to accept that your opponent is just better than we were yesterday. We felt like we did the right thing but came too short in scoring the points whenever the chance was there.
A good thing about those matches is that we know what we need to work on and we will continue to do so in practice! We will have a few more days of practice here in Fuzhou before we leave to Hong Kong on Sunday.
We are still in the race to qualify for the SuperSeries finals in Dubai so we hope to be able to clinch our spot there! Have a great weekend everyone!
